The last rays of a setting sun turn the leafless branches of our two plane trees a glowing, golden brown. Sadly this spectacle will soon be no more since the council have initiated plans to develop a piece of vacant land which, at four storeys in height, will block out the setting sun in the west.
All appeals have been swept aside in the name of progressive community housing.

They may call us customers now but we are nothing more than digits   evil: evil:

Unfortunately I got much the same response when I objected to a two storey extension opposite us that blocked our view of Snowdonia. Apparently one cannot "buy a view" and planning rules do not give you a right to one.  evil:
