Been pissing down in Cornwall, didn't do anything to help stop one of the beachfront hotels in Falmouth from burning down though.

The ford where the bloke died is about five miles from me. More or less every time we get heavy rain somebody usually gets stranded in the ford, or swept a little downstream. There are plenty of warning signs, but people choose to ignore these and chance it. I wouldn't mind, but it's only a very small diversion to avoid the ford
