Oh you poor thing, that's not good, here is a special Bonio to help you take your mind off it.
I am going to sit on the patio to deal with the slug and 24 cake tins that need washing.
P.S I sent an email to the local knitting group about a knitathon had no reply, bloody rude if you ask me, not even an acknowledgement.
No reply?
That'll be because you don't have at least 10 generations in the local grave-yard.
After 11 years here I still get blanked when I make a suggestion......The locals are, however, more than happy to sit and watch whilst I confound their predictions of gloom and doom and get things done. Then they like to complain that they would have done it differently.
You are of course quite right. We helped organise the Jubilee bash. Gloom and doom forecast, it all went well. It was in the end cost neutral, which by the way is the new buzz phrase.
I am the treasurer (me and sums
) of another much smaller group. I have been accused of taking over and making it all wrong. I was asked to be treasurer by them. They want funds for picnic tables, slides and stuff, I search for then fill out appropriate grant forms. I know how to do it they do not nor do they have the inclination to learn. So far I raised about 4k, they have swings and slides etc. There is some more munny to come for planters plants and possibly a straw bale building. Bah humbug. If it wasn't for the fact that I really do want the straw bale building I would tell hem to shove it all where the sun don't shine.
