Regrettably, I'll be in shorts. Having been the first one at work to start wearing them this year, I have been bet that I won't wear them everyday until 31st October. I won't let a bit of hypothermia get in the way  Thumbs:

WHAT a trip up 'me 'ill' that was this avvy! eeek:

Bloody unbelievably cold, cold as I've ever known it tbh, mainly down to the virtually storm force wind.
It was the wind that caused the pain of small shrouds of thin 6"ice particles that had been formed on the tree branches, that were flying off at incredible speed, and battering the blazes out of me and the few others that were up there. eeek:
Bloody painful in the face.

Never experienced that before.

Hardly a beast, but according to the forecast I received at 0600hr's we're supposed to be getting a dusting today...

Not a flake here, not a single flake  ::)  Even the 1800hr's update said expect accumulations from 2100hr's. How can they be so wrong three hours in front of the weather  ::)  ::)  ::)
