you've sent it all this way then Miss C

A half decent afternoon has turned into strong winds, rain and assorted pieces of tree flying around

Tell me about it... evil:

Ah yes, should have thought about you.  That's the thing with airports they don't build them in woods or hills so I guess nothing stops the wind.

What's it like being hit by flying suitcasery?  Bit shit I spose.
Well, whatever, nevermind

Wanna swap  lol:  I'm damp from 12 hours in the "mizzle". But off for three days now, so I have four nice cold cans to drink and I've just started a bottle of my neighbour's "Chateau Cooper" red wine. It's not bad, although I'm already struggling to see properly  lol: lol: lol:

Suitcases are fine - trying to load surfboards is a bit tricky, mind - the wind catches them something rotten...

It's weird, you can't let go of them - I was loading on stand 56 and a big gust caught the one I was about to put on the belt and I ended up on stand 58, surfboard still in my mitts  lol: lol: lol:

I love days like today - everything was fecked from about 2pm due to the French strike, but you are just totally flat out - going from stand to stand, unloading, loading, pushing them out and then going to the next one. The hours just whizz by. All the managers and senior managers were out "helping" - seeing them trying to stack the bags on lorries is hilarious and as I was chucking the bags out, I gave them extra ooomph - in the hope that a 30kg hard plastic Samsonite might catch one of them straight in the chops  eveilgrin:  Came close a few times...and the whimpering noises they made trying to carry the heavy ones...hilarious...as are the little bags full of diving weights - they look like nothing, but I know when I'm chucking them that they are 30+kgs. The poor managers pull them out of the hold door and you can see their arms hyper-extend when gravity plays its part, like something out of a Tom&Jerry cartoon  ;D

Dull, grey and one helluva breeze blowing out there. But wait... last night on the news they said the Met office have said... "get yer brollies ready, we've got four weeks of rain forecasted"  sad32: (and I know that's adding to it Miss D)  ;)

Not for the gardener though. Four weeks of rain, bollix, sad24: sad24: The forecast here is for very strong gusting winds, thunder storms and lots of hail.

Seems like I have two choices;

1. Start a watercress farm.
2. Get another poly tunnel.

If we do the later it may well piss off the neighbours one one side. eveilgrin:

I could of course do both.
I have always thought that the worst thing about drowning was having to call 'help!' You must look such a fool. It's put me against drowning.
