Tis the season for me to wear one of my many straw hats.
Have done this for years and years as I do burn easily. Yes I do have hair (unlike some) but it has always been very fine and does not protect from the sun.
Slop - Slap ~ as the Aussies have it. Slop on the sun cream, slap on a hat.
You know it makes sense, though I admit that with the advancing years I feel ever more at home in a hat ~ p'raps hats and age go together or maybe, as one gets older, one no longer gives a sh*t what others think or say but rather one seeks comfort.
