Snoopy's version of Ebrell, who answers to the name of Nigel, has been, with his daughter to help, to deliver £100 worth of spilt logs. The afternoon has been spent stowing the wood away. I am knackered although Mrs S#2 and the boys do more of the carrying and stacking than I do these days.  Despite a morning of heavy showers the rain held off whilst we did the work.

Once the men has been to fix the leaks in the new oil tank installed last year (it now being empty enough for them to work on ~ I hate to think how much oil has been wasted because of a sub-contactor's incompetence) on Tuesday the tank can be refilled and the Kennel is ready for the winter months.  cloud9:

Overcast, sea breeze but otherwise pleasant here. The boys and Mrs S#2 have gone to a RSPB Reserve armed with binoculars and cameras + a Bird ID book that Minor had for Christmas. THW is somewhere up the mountain ~ presumably glued to the front of her current boyfriend. ::) They are like a pair of leeches. I may take up smoking again just so I have a fag end to burn their arses with when we need to part them.

True but a fag is the traditional method of removing leeches ~ have you watched no war movies set in the "Jungle"?

Hot 'n humid here yesterday... I was sweating like a stuck pig yesterday morning whilst werking...

And t a friends for dinner last night the humidity-o-meter thingy went off the scale at about eight-thirty...
