39 degrees under the sunbed according to my thermometer thingy. Nudging 50 in direct sunlight.

Scorchio, I believe, is the pub parlance.
We are retiring to a restaurant for scran and cold beers.

Gorgeous weather all weekend and I was either

1) stuck in a car
2) stuck sitting in the shade at a football ground
3) stuck inside with the curtains drawn watching MIL watch teletext or play sudoku
