Lord Archer has apologised for starting the pier firom. Investigators have discivered that he was on the pier at the time and his pants, as long predicted, caught fire...  whistle:

This has now been classed as an arse-on-fire  whistle:

The question 'Who gives a fcuk?' springs to mind.

I for one have better things to worry about than if a derelict pier in a place I have never heard of goes up in flames or is painted pink and christened Gloria by gay activists.

Plans to "convert" the pier and build upmarket apartments on it had been submitted but "locals" had raised objections to these. Bottom drops out of housing market and finance has become a problem for house building and development.

So many suspects and so many motives.

I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

Would there be an outpouring of emotion because of the loss or the beautification of part of the city though?  whistle:

Oooh, we use to get these regular like

Class reporting... "Central Pier is one of three piers in Blackpool. It is located between the other two piers."  lol:

I predict further pier fires coming to a seaside town near you soon
