Nothing can save Broon. He was boasting a couple of weeks ago that he is the Andy Murray of politics, never say die, always up for it, a real Scottish winner ........ and look what happened to Mr Murray in the Olympics.
Take my word for it ~ Broon is a busted flush.

'Fraid you are right ~ medals are not awarded on sentiment. She has had her day and I wonder who was denied the trip to allow her in when we all knew that she was not up to it.

Yep. She should move sideways and do some mentoring or whatever the term is, toward the talent for 2012.

Well, with Super Saturday / Sunday over do we know watch our inevitable slide back down the leader board? Or we have we got some surprises stuffed up our Olympian sleeve

We don't tend to do so well in the running, jumping and throwing as some countries but I spect we'll pick up a couple more during the week though I doubt it will be in Basketball or Baseball.

Just remembered; I think we have some hope in the long jump... or perhaps triple jump.

I think we'll stick with the traditional tally of Golds determining the position on the table with Silver and Bronze sorting out any ties thank you.
