We seem to have gained a couple more medals in the Horse Riding events and a silver for cycling. Am I being churlish but should the equestrian medals not be awarded to the horse rather than the passenger?

It seems that the Chinese obsession with secrecy is having an effect on the numbers of visitors to sponsored stands and that some sponsors may well decide enough is enough and reduce their spend in London for the 2012 Games. The knock on will, of course, mean that we, the British Tax Payers, will be expected to pick up any shortfall in projected income.  ...... But then I think we were rather expecting that anyway.
