I note that the Chinese have twice as many Golds as the Yanks but those two countries are joint leaders in the overall medals won table. The Chinese do seem to have come on a lot in four years ~ home advantage do you suppose .... or ...........  rubschin:

I'm sure we are hatching a similar plot for 2012. Along with the cast of Eastenders and some pearly kings all waving sparklers as they shuffle on to the stage during the opening ceromony.
