As an afterthought ~ Statutory Redundancy is based on average earnings over a period of time prior to the actual redundancy ~ thus it would seem that acceptance of a lower rate of pay could well result in a lower redundancy payment when the time comes.
TG's current employers would seem to have a decent accountant working for them.
Yep the cut off limit that the goverment have imposed is 20 yrs so anything over that dont count
he would get 7,000 thats the most he could have....so much for all that loyality, but as i said they aint got that to pay him off anyway!
cant wait till we pensioners as i am going to claim what i can, as we dont have property or any money, as in our age bracket now we cant get anything as we dont have school age kids anymore, so nothing we can claim for although we work etc! so pay in an cant get anything out!..
the working tax creds system amazes me, i know people who earn more than us and can get hundreds a month, because they work it out on yr previous yrs earning. I know child tax creds are diff you can get them if u earn quite a lot. shall i have another baby...NOT!
i never got anything exept family allowance wen mine where younger..!
