Not at the cost of some very lovely and historic woodlands that can never be replaced and all to knock five minutes off a car journey.

This was in place for two days before it was noticed

Of course he is BM, there is a curfew on when Nick can go out. He isnt allowed on the motorway until after rush hour in order to prevent accidents.  whistle:

Have a good hols, Nick.... oops, too late.

I forgot to mention not going in the plunge pool after a sauna; it's freezing. Oh, and the sky walks have dodgy steps ~ very slippery when wet.

Well ~ if he has finally got away he has 275 miles plus to travel, including the M6 and M40. No way will they get to Winchester before 11pm and they were going for tea  eeek:
Mind you ~ I've noticed he does have a fairly "creative" view of speed and distance  whistle:

Are you saying that the old Speed, Distance, Time formula doesn't work where Nick's concerned  eeek:

Its the power of the Nick-o-rays, they warp reality. If you dont believe me just look back at some of his posts...  eeek:

Slight delay then, A34 closed for resurfacing etc 2200 to 0600 South end of Newbury bypass to Highclere Castle, it's a straightforward diversion

M40/A34 is no better.
In fact A34 through Newbury is the stuff of nightmares
It doesn't go though Newbury any more, there is a bypass.

Not a bad road in fact, unless you get stuck behind a slow vehicle . . whistle:
