We need a Nickie pig to test that TG. If he can get a useable pair of glasses with the right lenses then itwill be fine for the rest of us.  whistle:

Can't go wrong ~ the original and best on the web. These are the people that Specsavers went to court to try to close down and lost! We all use them, even for the THW who would get free specs from High Street Opticians.

As for the blower thingy in the eye test ~ you wanna try the retinopathy test you have annually if you are diabetic. That is awful ..................... but necessary.

Strangely they combine the retina photographs, which involve painful eyedrops and a lot of waiting about and the wearing of sunglasses, no matter what the weather, for several hours aftreward, with a foot and lower leg examination that includes sticking needles into the soles of your feet. Apparently this testing of pedular extremities  is equally important to rule out possible gangrene, which they tell me diabetics are prone to  scared2:

When are we going to get Star Trek type medical tricorders? One pass over the patient and diagnosis done.

What?

When you've had as many invasive tests as I (and Snoop) have suffered you'll wish for the same.

The older I get the less I care about jet packs and flying cars and more about better medical care.

When you think of what they can now do with a CT Scan ~ it cannot be far away Uncle. 100 years ago they were still using leeches  rubschin: Come to think of it they still do.

But back to the CT Scans and similar stuff ~ it is only a matter of size from that to a medical "tri-corder".

And no doubt the prescribed medicines will still be deemed too expensive by NICE.  noooo:
