i am at a loss too wenchy, i say to my mil -tg, that how would all us get to work if they let the pensioners on bus before 930 and they have all day anyway!
my mil thinks that the world gona end if she aint been in an out of town by 11am! i wouldent even be dressed by then wen old an decrepid never mind be at bus stop early! they actually can get on bus but have to pay a whole half fare, so thank god that puts em off! i know we all be one, but i would be grateful for wat i get, like a freeby pass!

The government should supply them with scooters. Actually Dot and I walk to most places (Dot isn't fond of speed).We live 5 miles fromthe shops, so it's quite a big expedition!

In my days in North London the pensioner pass holders were universally known as "Twirlies" from their habit of boarding the bus at 0925 asking "Am I twirly?"
