She worried about the little one who was dashing onto everything he was underage for on the grounds that "I cannot be expected to read signs ~ I'm only seven". The age restriction is, of course, not so much a matter of age but is used as an indicator of size (height and body weight) as well as the obvious safety implications involving bones, brain protection etc. Apart from that she, obviously, was not involved in "going on the rides", she was concerned at the number of groups of "disadvantaged" youths bussed in from Liverpool and Manchester (under the nominal control of social workers) who were rampaging about the place swearing, smoking, drinking and clearly bent of causing mayhem and the total absence of any attempt at control by the few staff in evidence. We were both at a loss to understand why they could manage three people at the entrance to collect the cash but only two patrolling the entire site. All in all I think she found it a daunting experience and not one we plan to repeat in the near future.
