My eldest boy never wanted to learn to drive either. Don't know if he has done so since we last spoke but I doubt it.

Mrs S#2 never bothered either, having lived/worked in London from the age of 19 until we married and eventually moved out to live and work in the New Forest. Then she found it useful and took lessons.
Mind you, unless I am ill, she always tells me to drive on the grounds that she" Doesn't see the point in having a husband and driving herself" ~ the same applies to putting petrol, oil and water in her car  ::)

Given the costs of running a car I wouldn't be too sure about being paupers for not having one.

If we didn't live in the country we would revert to public transport and hire a car when it was the cheaper option (like taking five of us on holiday). When we lived in London car owning was never an issue and we managed very nicely by hiring when necessary. Of course for that one does need a driving licence.

Yes and if you weren't so quick to jump in that would have been the end of it. The video worked on YouTube but not when posted ~ which of course one cannot tell until one has posted the fecking thing. Still I guess with nothing better to do that listen to Leicester City getting beaten by Swindon Town on the radio it is understandable that you are looking for diversion.
Still puzzled as to why comment is needed ~ you can remove your posts that go wrong too.
