It did not work!

Could not identify the boot. It saw drives including the only hard drive, but would not let me use it.
I then tried booting without USB, to lose all the memory card drive letters and got stuck as it was a USB keyboard. cussing:

Time for some emails.

It's a Porridge Wog's PC. Try feeding it some oats?

Oh dear... it worked well for me...

One thing I have learned when working on a PC, always have a proper plug-in (i.e. not USB) keyboard available... The bastard thing will stop recognising USB devices at the most inopportune moment...

I was working on a customer system yesterday - hit "Esc" to skip the memory check worked fine but then "it any key to boot from CD..." didn't recognise the USB keyboard...  cussing:

The local Shell petrol station has just had a makeover, including a 'pay at pump' option.

Each pump now seems to have a tiny PC screen and this morning they displayed grey boxes saying something about memory and a Yes/No option to click on.  ::)

Fortunately the 'pay at kiosk' button still worked.
