It did not work!
Could not identify the boot. It saw drives including the only hard drive, but would not let me use it.
I then tried booting without USB, to lose all the memory card drive letters and got stuck as it was a USB keyboard. 
Time for some emails.
Oh dear... it worked well for me...
One thing I have learned when working on a PC, always have a proper plug-in (i.e. not USB) keyboard available... The bastard thing will stop recognising USB devices at the most inopportune moment...
I was working on a customer system yesterday - hit "Esc" to skip the memory check worked fine but then "it any key to boot from CD..." didn't recognise the USB keyboard...
