Family are having dinner/supper in front of the TV. Mrs S#2 summons me with a shout. They are watching Phil and Kisrty trying to flog someone a flat. "Does that look familiar?" asks the little woman "No" says I "Should it?". "Yes" she says "That is our old flat in Luton" and bugger me if she wasn't right. We sold it for £55k in 1989 and it is on the market for £125k now. Twenty years on, it looks a bit of a mess and the neighbourhood has gone downhill somewhat to judge from the shots of the exterior. Not a very big increase in twenty years considering we made £20k on it in the two years we lived there.
