View from my Window
« on: September 12, 2008, 06:43:53 PM »
My office/study/call it what you will has a window on the side of the house facing west. I became aware a few minutes ago that the light had changed and that everything was "glowing" so I looked out of the window. Fantastic sunset out over the Irish sea but the clouds were reflecting the sunset in a very odd way. Took a couple of pics from the back garden.

And one from my window

I half expected to see Charlton Heston

Excellent theme! I'm going to have to peruse my digital library. Since I work abroad at times it might become rather exotic  eyes:

Honest ~ I am 700 feet or so above sea level on a mountain side looking out toward the Irish Sea. That is a truly Biblical sky though. All gone now. It only lasted about ten minutes.

Nothing to beat a good sunrise or sunset Snoopy. I took these outside my place last September.

There haven't been many mornings when the sun has risen like that here this year sad24:

RAF Welford too, more seems to go on there than ever went on at Greenham Common. No worries though. I have a tin-foil hat

You would (Or perhaps you would not) be amazed at what they have hidden and where. But I have said too much already. (Waits for reminder of signed Official Secrets Act)

Mrs Nick worked briefly at the Royal Naval College building in Greenwich. They had a hell of a job getting rid of the nuclear reactor!  scared2:
