I have the prospect of going to a wedding tomorrow of someone I have known for over 20 years. She has an inoperable brain tumour and suffice it to say this wedding has been arranged in less than 2 weeks so that says it all really.

Just dreading it really.

Work is shite

Blokes are shite

Oh dear, I do really feel for you…

My brother in law got married (to my sister obviously) a few days before his death… wedding photos with a feeding tube up his nose are a grim reminder of what he had to go through.

However, the day was lovely, all their friends and family were there to support them and he was doing something that meant a great deal to both of them – I’m sure it will be the same for your friend too…

As for work, blokes and kids they’re all shite as you say…  noooo:

That sounds grim. cry:

Remember it is still her big day and you need to celebrate it with her even more loudly than you would have otherwise.

As for the shite items you mention, I can apologise on behalf of cads with whom I share my gender and sympathise with the rest.

Now have a drink my dear and go to that wedding as the radiant life and soul that you are, and make your friends day.

DS you are / were right  angel1

The day was very special - obviously very emotional, as she has deteriorated a lot since I last saw her and cannot walk without being supported etc. However the focus was all on the positive and sun shone brightly. I guess you couldn't ask for much more given the circumstances.
