Dangers of phones
« on: September 24, 2008, 10:52:30 AM »
Two years ago a colleague died due to a brain tumour. For over six months he knew that it was inoperable and that he was going to die. It wasn't a pleasant time for him or anybody that knew him to see him end his days like that

When he first visited the specialist at the hospital, the first question he asked him was, "do you use your mobile phone a lot?" Now, when Dave rang you, you knew you were going to be on the phone for at least 15 minutes, so the answer was of course "yes". Due to various experts saying "yes they are dangerous", and others saying the opposite, I was never really sure of the dangers. This video convinced me -

Actually this could be viral marketting aimed at dozy American Red Necks. "Bubba, that phone made the popcorn grow larger. Just think what it could do to my brain. I could count to 21 without scaring passers by. I'm gonna get me one of those..."

On balance, I think that would be worth encouraging.

And I have a simple plan if we can get the start up cash. Buy a load of the New 3g Iphones and leave them at Nicks for a few weeks. They should soak up enough Nick-o-rays to have the desired effect when we sell them to our 'choice' customers.  whistle:
