Frankly BM ~ and I don't want to p*ss on your chips so to speak ~ but we have thrown so many of those away over the years. Impossible to keep clean, stink the house out, cause grease all over kitchen walls and ceilings because they "syeam" as they cook, whenever you change the oil you have the problem of what to do with the old oil and some always ends up either down your clothes or on the floor.

Agreed... but things are different here aren't they...?  whistle:

Our last one was simply dropped into the wheelie bin in a bin bag - oil and everything. No bin Stazi here to tell you that you can't do it...  ;)

No neither do we as Minimus is allergic to eggs but we do actually use the kitchen blow torch quite often.
