With a book? I always like to read whilst having a long soak.  cloud9:

I am back ~ refreshed, sweet smelling and clean.

No book, have fallen asleep too often with a book in the bath and woken with a heavy weight on my chest that turned out to be the book I had been reading now ~ sodden and unreadable. Many hours have I spent drying books over radiators and then trying to get the stiffened pages to turn. Why is it that after a dunking your average book, even when dry, is twice as thick as it was before?

The fibres in the paper have distorted and warped due to being dunked in the bath hound.

Have you considered getting a bath tray. At least then if you doze of the book would be protected.  rubschin:

I confess I dislike bath clutter.
My late mother was a great one for bath trays etc. I always managed to knock them over getting in or out of the tub. Can't be doing with all the fuss.
Just me and my rubber ducky is all I need.

More importantly, have you left a ring around the bath or cleaned it all out after...?
