I think she drowns goats to relieve her pent up emotions.
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

Mrs JOM gave a strong-ish "hint" earlier this week for a Christmas present. "Ooh, there's a nice designer scarf on ebay, I'll send you the link"

£10 it was, no problem thought I, I'll stick in a late bid on Saturday. Well, a few hours remain, and it's up to £51  eeek:
I think I'll be braving the shitty weather and finding a BeWise or QS

Fifty one Pound for a scarf???  eeek:

Mind yoiu, if it's not in the UK that could be as little as about €5 by the time it closes...  whistle:

£51.00 was bad enough. Speaking as a bloke, no scarf is worth £62.00 (with fifty-odd minutes to go)

However, the female of the species may have different opinions on this matter (even Mrs JOM baulked(sp) at £51). "Oh, all right love" said I sympathetically, "I won't bother"

It is a bargain, I will say that, but I wouldn't spend that amount on it.

That is the standard sort of pricing.

And neither did I  lol:

Somebody spent £62.00 on it and will no doubt tell her lucky man that "it was a bargain, look at this link, I got it at half price, I should have bought a second one"
