Hey girl, I can empathise.... brought up 4 boys and at one time they all wanted 'kit' from footie teams ........West Ham - Chelsea - Leicester rugby club and g*d knows what the other one was!!!

Some years ago I bought my second grandson a West Ham babygrow for his first christmas...... dad is the Rugby player!!! One photo and I never saw it again!!!

I'm sure Santa will find something to help you out.... have another mince pie & a cuppa.

Despite ordering items on the 5th they have not arrived. Nor have I been called back as promised. Made my final nagging call today to be told the items I require are not in stock. I have suspicions that they never were.  angry041:

Should do what I'm about to do then....go to the SHOPS. ::)
S'pose I'd better get 'round to doing one or two cards like too. ::)

The trouble with shopping in Waitrose at Christmas is that they have so many "different" Christmas treats. We went in for half a dozen or so "bits" last Christmas. "Ooh, those look nice", "ooh those sound delicious" etc, half way round I abandoned the basket and got a sodding trolley for Mrs JOM

The upside Barman is not only are the staff fragrant and lovely, you get a better class of female in there too, so while away the time with a bit of window shopping

Luckily for me, they were only three deep at Morrisons today

Hee hee! Just done ALL my crimbo shopping in 2 hours flat, including travel and Chsehire jOaks car park manouvering. cloud9:

B & no Q was empty, bar the staff. cloud9:
Walked into Boots for a sniff around, found summat that i thought Mrs G would like, and bought it. Total time in there, 3 minutes. cloud9:

I was so pleased with my progress that I dropped into the pet store to coo over the wabbits and 'amsters and fishies for 10 minutes. cloud9:
Came so so so so close to coming home with an 'ouse wabbit weighing 5 kilos,  cloud9: but just resisted the temptation. sad32:

I'm generally in a good mood now then, and miss moose is currently wrapping everything up for me too while I go the ale 'ouse.
Sorted. Lafin'! whistle:

Here's an idea  bom

The must have household item with an edgy past, the half-brick is the ultimate in urban chic. Forged in the back alleys and builder’s yards of London it now finds its true home as a tasteful addition to the contemporary bookcase or fashionable hallway door.

But this multipurpose piece of art is not only a bookend or a doorstop. Why not give this Christmas that gangland feel by having your cards personally delivered, tied to an impressive half-brick and cast through the windows of your family and friends.

Locally sourced by an up-and-coming, cult, neo-retro-neo-modernist, local designer the half-brick puts itself in a class above all other bookends and doorstops, be they shaped as roller-skates, rollerblades or heelies, by being reassuringly priced at £1000 (excl delivery).

Like the Buddhist said to the hot dog vendor...
"Make me one with everything"
