A cheerful crimbo cake chomping thread
« on: October 14, 2008, 12:33:53 PM »
Just nearing the end of my 2nd Crimbo cake within 10 days, so after extensive tasty testing I can now catergorically and highly recommend Morrisons iced and marzipaned fruit cake with cherries in it, 6" in diameter, weighs about 3 tons, is extremely moist and exceedingly tasty.
Yours for a mere £2.99 too! eeek:
Cost you more than that to make it yerself I'd have thought like?

But it's not Christmas

D'ya know, I really don't give a stuff.
Putting it in simple terms, I just luv crimbo cake....and chocolate too.  cloud9:

The great thing is also, is that it's not advertised as being Crimbo cake, just an iced and marzipaned fruit cake, so I don't feel the slightest bit guilty....just fat and wobbly.

Funnily enough Mrs GROWLER commented exactly the same, which is fine by me as she therefore doesn't get offerd any, as it's "Too early for Crimbo cake"...my arse, chomp scoff chomp burp.

I'll also add that it comes complete with a sprig of plastic holly on the top.
These I'm now collecting, and by Crimbo itself, I should have enough of them to decorate the house!

Another top tip saving suggestion from the vaults of GROWLERS 'ed!  angel1

Most threads don't stay on topic for that long. spider: At least we are discussing Christmas lights now, albeit microwaved ones.

Plus, of course, a desire to give as much space as possible to his micro-wave video clip.

But getting back to Crimbo Cake ~ why not? If you like the stuff ..... which I have to say I do not.

I used to have a handle on life but it broke.
