Ey? confused:

You buy an iced marzipaned fruit cake with cherries and a sprig of holly (Crimbo cake) at Easter from Morrisons, then take the icing off before scoffing it? What about the marzipan?

Do you think this thread is annoying Nick....hopefully?

Lets talk CAKE CAKE CAKE! Lurrrrve it!   cloud9: It makes me happy.

Cakes are good ~ but Nick sees only railway opportunities in them.

Have you seen the array of CAKES that Morrisons do on their 'in house baked' section? eeek:

You could actually die if you looked at them for too long.

I take young GROWLER with me on a Friday evening, and he always has to drag me away from the fresh cakes counter, claiming I'm like a little kid in a sweet shop staring and cooing at the days special offers in CAKE.

Niice werd CAKE init?

Youngest is allergic to eggs and nuts so shop bought cakes are a big no-no in this house.
We make all our own so that he can also have some ~ and egg free cakes are not quite the same but..........

I'm makin' a CAKE next month to take with me to the Lake District when I have a weekend away with the boys on a rally.
Made a chocolate one 2 years ago, but it disintegrated when I took it out of the oven. sad32:
We had to eat it with a spoon out of fruit bowls, ::)
Still tasted nice though.

Triple decker chocy CAKE this time, with marzipan and icing in the middle for a change.
GROWLER CAKE!

Crimbo cakes can be delayed by the wrong kind of snow.

Rail overcrowding 'to get worse'
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7668816.stm

And presumably cakes will get squashed.
