This is essentially correct and is a possiblity, although extremely remote.

I find use of the word 'lure' in this context a bit odd though.

I'm still puzzled as to why anyone in their right senses would want to book a place in a cellar, below the level of the known spring high tide mark, next to an estuary that regularly floods.

I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

To hide from Planet X of course.   ::) We have a washing machine down there, which might come in handy.

If you set it on the highest heat setting, and DON'T put the water in, could it be used for baking CAKES....you know, in an emergency like?

That's it.  eeek:
Well done that man, and have a turnip on DS!

Scary read that in'it?  scared2:
No, it's shite...  noooo:

As Nick pointed out earlier (in a rare lucid moment), if there was such a thing heading our way digging a big 'ole would provide no protection...

No, well yes probably. I keep open minds about some of these things tbh., but I do take the point that it is in fact probably all shite and am not remotely bothered about it apart fromn the fact that it might shut down CAKE production. cussing:
For the 3rd time now, I think, nowhere has it been stated that this planet is going to actually hit us.

OK! I'M NOT DEAF! ::)

IF it exists, and who knows what the hell is roaming about out there, it's NOT going to hit us.

Yea right, but there's probably plenty of other 'monsters' lurking behind the Sun hurtling our way.
You only have to have a look at the moon and see the size of some of those craters to realise that there is 'stuff' out there that can do untold life threatening damage.
They reckon that's what wiped the Dinasours out...a big meteorite or summat, that smashed in to the Earth, blackening the skies for thousands of years, and kicking off the ice age.

A dishwasher makes a satisfactory cooker and does the washing up at the same time. I don't think a washing machine would because of the "tumble" action.
