TBH I Googled for a Cockpit Controls image. It cane up on a NASA site but I have no idea what it flies.
That said it looks a lot like the little trainers we used to go up in back in 1964/5
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

The switches say it has three tanks and four chambers so it could be a portaloo.

It must be an X-1 derivative with the four chambered rocket motor...

Its the Bell X-1B. Circa 1954 - 58 and yes I'm bored.
