So, is the paintpod worth buying?
Apart from the obvious issues I'd say yes...

Minor complaints: -

1) Roller head thingy heavier than a normal roller
2) Power plug easily pulled out by paint pipe
3) It has a carrying handle... however, when raised you can't open the storage place for the roller

One the plus side: -

1) Less time running up and down ladders to load the roller
2) Very consistent painting - you can control just how much paint on the roller
3) No splashing
4) Paint has very good coverage
5) Cleaning a doddle

I think I'm going to like it...

It would be goog if they had an edging brush that also pumped paint or a smaller roller but that'll probably be in the MK II version...
