Ahhhhh!
Now I'm a bit cleverer than that ~ I have one of those tracker numbers and when in the house anyone calling my mobile is automatically transferred to the home phone. When I leave the house, at the press of a button, my mobile is restored to functioning mode.   whistle:

In fact, I'll take a picture later... they're building a new house up the road... in their haste to get concrete poured in the foundations they haven't removed a telegraph pole which is now permanently embedded in the structure....  noooo:

Why not have an extension down there then ~ or a speaking tube.

It would have to be a drinking straw else it would be to large to fit.  whistle:

How very dare you ma'am!  evil:

Even I, admittedly clumsy and accident prone, wouldn't have done that...  noooo:

In fact I pointed it out to the builders the other day! 'Problema?' I asked pointing to the pole... The foreman just shrugged his shoulders in a 'I should care?' kind of way...  ;D

In Kevin McCloud voice ~ "Here we are two weeks into the build and I am wondering if they are going to make sense of this pole as part of the interior structure".
