Hamilton v spiteful bastards
« on: October 31, 2008, 02:52:59 PM »
Oh I so hope young Hammy wins the much deserved World Champoin title this Sunday, even more so now after reading THIS shite. cussing:
I can only assume the Spicks have started this due to the 'apparent' mistreatment of their so called superstar nasty little prick Alonsoran last year.

Foreign Secretary David Miliband has been urged to make a formal protest to the Spanish government over the racist abuse of Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton.
World governing body the FIA and Hamilton's McLaren team have been quick to condemn a "voodoo-style" website in Spain where hundreds of abusive messages have been posted.
"The Spanish government cannot stand back and allow this organised and systematic racism to continue," Labour MP Keith Vaz, chairman of the party's Ethnic Minority Taskforce, said. "I call upon the Foreign Secretary to make a formal protest to the Spanish government urging them to act on this serious issue."

Visitors to the site have been encouraged to drop imaginary nails, pins or porcupines on a mock-up of the Interlagos circuit.
The 23-year-old will take to the Sao Paulo circuit on Sunday for the Brazilian Grand Prix, needing only to finish in the top five to become the youngest champion in Formula One history.
Mr Vaz said it was clear that the website - named Pincha la Rueda de Hamilton, which translates as Burst Hamilton's Tyre - was set up to destabilise Hamilton before this weekend's race.
The FIA condemned the "abusive and hateful" comments left on the website, many of which refer to Hamilton's colour.
A notice on the website read: "Hamilton can't finish the race. We have to stop him however we can.
"All you have to do is choose a spike, place it where you want on the circuit and hope he suffers a historic puncture."

Anyone speak the lingo, 'cus I'd like to leave a message on there. cussing:

Keith Vaz is an opportunistic bastard.

Regardless of the content of the said website (and I have not, and will not visit it) he is using it to score points for himself and no-one else.

Do not climb aboard his bandwagon people.

"Ethnic Minority Taskforce" FFS.

I believe the vast majority of Spanish as well as English people will treat with the contempt it deserves.

But the media will fuel this in to an international incident.

The Hamilton's seem to ignoring it, so should everyone else.

If god is in his heaven Vaz will be booted at the next election. Even the 'ethnic monority' here must have by now seen right through him.

All very true TG, and I must point out that I posted all that in a sudden fit of rage.
I'm not saying all Spaniards are that malicious, just this mind bending scummy minority, so prevelant in all countries societys sadly.

Certainly did. I stopped watching F1 a few years back when it became a procession. I'm glad I tuned in for this one, literally twists and turns from start to finish. If it was Hollywood he's have won it on the last corner though

Most unbelievable and exciting sporting action I've ever had the privelidge to witness. eeek:
My throat is so sore bellowing at the tv on those last couple of laps, and I thought I was going to have a bloody heart attack I was that excited.
Every conceivable emotion in those most incredulous final 3 minutes.

Boy's Own manual couldn't have made up a more exciting and tense story line.
Truly awesome race, and definately the most tense and exciting finale to a Grand Prix season EVER!
