Only a few burnt sausages left

rubschin: Sorry ~ we had a bit of an incendiary incident

I did warn you about letting Nick have a go on the BBQ.  point:

It was fine until a woman with large t*ts walked past ~ his attention sort of wandered from the job in hand.
Are those his fingers then...?  eeek:

Possibly ~ I didn't actually count the sausages when I left him in charge.

rubschin:  Might be ~ it's hard to tell in the last light of the bonfire.  Still ... Romantic innit?

Don't know about round your way but locally last night it was a very quiet bonfire night. Very odd  rubschin:

Wrong day of the week Uncle. We have two massive organised displays for "charity" near to us every year.
One took place over two nights (Monday 3rd Nov and Tuesday 4th Nov) and the other last night (at least they got the 5th).
Apart from those two it was, as you say, very quiet. I suspect that many will be doing their "home thing" on this coming Saturday.

T'was a right old racket round our way. I was walking home at about 8ish and there were fireworks going off all around. The lack of wind meant the sound and the sights were spectacular!

Yes the lack of wind does at least mean you can keep your eyes open

Same here. It was raining etc and there was enough to make the cats take cover. I imagine there will be another barrage at the weekend.
I think my cat wants to kill me...
