I quite like the local community forums (or fora if you prefer), but mostly for the wrong reasons  redface:

This posting sums up a current drama and dilemma which invites speculation  eyes:

Quote
I have a stella fidge for sale, like in the picture below:
It's in good condition and is in full working order. I've just moved in with my partner and it doesn't fit in her plat, hence the need to sell. I'm looking for £40 O.N.O.
Let me know if you're interested. One free chilled beer for the buyer :-)

Should that be "her place" or "her flat"? Perhaps plat has a meaning unknown to me?  rubschin:

Anyway, at this point she's clearly wearing the trousers in this blossoming relationship and laying down the law. I shall have to watch out for further offered goods from this poster  ;)

The poor deluded sucker clearly believes that this is love and all that bollox. If he would only listen we could tell him the beer fridge will prove more reliable in the end and will not fill his life with tat.
My advice ~ keep the fridge, buy a fishing rod and ditch the girlfriend.
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

Well, nobody's offered to buy it yet. But a few comments like:

"Don't be a wuss. You can stand the telly on it!"

"Does it get Sky?"

Oh, and some geek who wants to know it's got a thermostat  ::)

A photography student is looking for models  eeek:

She ( eyes:) says she's doing a project on sexuality and intimacy but reassures the readers that she's a complete prude! So, there won't be any of that Page 3 stuff, as she puts it. Allegedly it's in the name of art.  rubschin:

There's also a woman seeking advice on thinning hair... someone has suggested that she paints little rabbits on her head because from a distance, rabbits can look like...

My tat! I don't think he really realised quite how bad it was.  redface: When we were house sharing a lot of it was in storage.  redface: It was only when we actually moved and choose a place together that he realised quite how bad it was.

It was only a small carrier bag when we first met. It is only the last three or four years that it has massed into boxes.  redface:
