[serious mode on] When it was announced that Jade Goody was dying, to my shame I looked up how old she was, then checked my bingo card.
I could have posted a comment about it then, but thought it was inappropriate. If she was the Jade that has been known to me via the media for some time now, I would have probably posted about her coming death. However, she is now married, and she has children (something I didn't know before). Very soon those children will soon be without their mother, that is so incredibly sad. I don't give two shits about her husband, a piece of scum IMHO.
Some time ago Wendy Richards announced that she was dying with cancer, she then got on with her life, and to be honest, I'd forgotten that she was living her dying days. In this world of "celebrity", she passed away with dignity.
Jade Goody seems to have employed the services of Max Clifford and due to this business arrangement, her impending death is played out in front of the worlds media. I understand her wish to ensure that her children are financially OK, but I find this media circus thing really so intrusive and so wrong [serious mode off]
Anyhoo... I'll allow myself one of the few... Just read a great book, "Get Rich Quick" by Jack Tweed
