The EU are going to relax the rules that they denied existed and allow curved cucumbers, mishapen carrots and what the Telegraph describes as ugly artichokes (though frankly I have never seen a "pretty" artichoke) ~ BUT only if the member countries want to allow these to be sold and if the sellers clearly mark them.
OK who can't tell a bent cucumber from a straight one without reading a label?
