Does anybody use it...?

I set it up yesterday and am quite impressed actually...

I haven't got signatures working yet, but I'm sure I will...

This continues Barman's quest to replace all the software on his PC with free stuff...  whistle:

Yes and I like it. I've been using Thunderbird for over two years without problems. Installed it at the same time as Firefox ~ wouldn't change to any others. Works with Linux too  whistle:

Indeed...

I figure that if I can get used to using all these applications, transferring to linux will be a whole lot easier at some point... assuming Window$ 7 is shite of course...

Never tried ~ don't see the point to be honest.

An electronic signature is not worth the paper it is not written upon.

Thunderbird is the alternative to Windows as an email programme. It is freeware that runs along with Firefox as a browser. Personally I have found them both to be bug free and I get a lot less spam via Thunderbird. I also prefer their layout, storage facilities and the regular updates to improve security. Particularly of interest to Linux users as it runs with Linux so you have NO licence fees, no set up costs and no f*cking Microsoft. whistle:

If you switch it has the facility to import all your contacts etc in seconds ~ so changing is pain free. No need to change email addresses or anything. It simply replaces Windows ~ which then sits in the background and sulks until you delete it from your machine.

Ahhh I don't use a static email. I only have the web based ones.

I use both ~ for different purposes.

Work related (magazine etc) has one address. Personal (family and friends) has another. Shopping has another.
