The job sounded OK but the pay was shite. Mainly the hours were on rotating shifts, earliest start 7am, latest finish 7pm. 7 day week.

On doing research on bus routes it would have not been possible to make weekend early starts. In fact weekdays would have been pushing it.

I am not averse to early starts but it would just not have been possible.

I was going to go anyway for the interview experience and maybe a confidence boost if they offered it to me as I could have sneered at them and told them to fvck off. But I decided it wasnt worth it in the end.

Also, I had a call from our local NHS HR dept this morning that was encouraging.

Thanks for that.

Why would working for the NHS make me a 'parasite'?
