My mood today is: Pissed off ~ but that is my default position.
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

Nickfucius has spoken. This sounds like your life philosophy old boy.  whistle:

You rang?  whistle:

Strange lot yous, with your mood swings. Why don't you just be a grumpy old bastard permanently like me, then when something good happens...when ::)...it makes it an experience worth remembering.
Can't particulary put me finger on anything worth remebering at this particular moment in time tbh, but hey bloody ho, another lousy day beckons no doubt. ::)

I'm going away this weekend though up to Grizedale forest like....luvlee! cloud9:
Bit of snow forecast too! cloud9:
Staying overnight in a gorgeous little coach 'ouse with REAL ale, BIG nosebags, puddings and CAKES!

With the boys too....oh, and the GROWLERS jnr. scared2:
Much frolicment is forecast providing GROWLERS jnr. don't fight. Banghead
Should be good, cus Mrs GROWLER won't be present to hold me back like, but Mini Moose will no doubt snitch on me...as usual. ::)

So to answer your question, I'm feeling slightly optomistic and mildly looking forward to this coming weekend, after a fairly turbulent start to the week.

You are taking the girl child? Up a mountain? Where there will be limited sanitary arrangements?  eeek:

Are you suggesting that girls are leakier than boys?

happy001  Limited? I should co co!
In the woods dear Wenchy, in the woods, and she's been taught to find a friendly rabbit to wipe her 'bits' on if neccessary. All at one with nature like. back to basics GROWLER style. Can't beat it.  cloud9:
We're going to see if we can start a fire with a pair of sticks too.

We're actually going on a rally to marshal, so there'll be plenty of basic requirements, and I'll be doing me famous full forest brekky, followed by lashings of coffee, chocy cookies, chocy muffins with chocy chunks as big as your mitts, and of course crimbo CAKE!  cloud9:

All in all, feeling moderately optomistic and looking forward to a bleak cold snowy weekend with lots of laughs.
You townies should really try it. Good for the soul like. ;)

Not that girls are leakier than boys, just more paticular about their sanitary arrangement.

Growler it sounds blissful and I love the idea of it but I like a toilet. And bog roll. And running water. And a boiler. I could go without showers, heating, a bed, a kettle. But a toilet is something I would struggle to cope without. redface:
