I am confuddled  eeek:

Fractious with child  - it is her birthday this weekend and I have told her she could have a sleepover with 2 of her best friends. She has invited 5  evil:

Furious with work - I have taken on a new role (more responsibility etc) - the Clowncil have got a new policy and propose not to pay me for this for at least 6 months (then only after a review) . Thieving cheating scumbags

Frustrated - I do not understand men . New blokey is making plans for next year (err excuse me !!! ) but cannot even sort out next weekend !!!!

How old is the child?

Your mistake was in not agreeing with her the names of the invitees and YOU confirming the arrangements with their mothers.

But at that age they don't know how to say no to their friends.

It is all about popularity and a crushing need to court it.

For the same reason girls in particular cannot resist telling their friends via Facebook or similar that they are having a party and then wondering why 200 uninvited yobs turn up and wreck the place
