Imagine if you were a great fan of that sport and you took your kids along to see some world class play; try explaining what happened to them...
I'd fine the 8 for the total ticket price of that evening's event and give the spectators their money back. Now that would be an Olympian gesture  eveilgrin:

Watched some of the "Eventing" yesterday ~ Got me thinking ~ What an excellent venue that is with superb views over the City from the Cross Country course. Come to that what iconic venues we have supplied for many of the sports. Rowing on the Thames, Beach Volley Ball on Horseguards' Parade, Yachting at Weymouth, Footy at some of the world's best known arenas, Tennis at Wimbledon, Archery at Lords.
No country could possible match them. We have much to be proud of when all's said and done.

Loved watching Wiggins and Froome in the cycling. Wiggins didn't just win, he destroyed the rest with his 42 second victory. And given that he's been winning medals since 2000, we know he's "clean"  :thumbsup:  Thumbs:

Rowing - ever so close  but silver woo hoo  ( wish in their interview they had been congratulated a bit more rather than focus on the disappointment of not winning gold !!! )

Shooting  was oooh so tense but  gold  woohoo   :thumbsup:

Canoeing was exhilirating but woo hoo  x 2  gold and silver  :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

Judo didn't see it but silver woo hoo  :thumbsup:

Cycling - fingers crossed
