Job done, unit tested, all clean and lovely, old unit disposed of, genuine charm and amusing banter.
Took him just over an hour, first getting the oven away and clear, then finding the fixings of the old one, but because HE'D DONE IT BEFORE NUMEROUS TIMES, he knew where to look and had the right kit. Out with the old hob, prep'd the work surface and fitted the new, TESTED WITH LECCY THING THAT I DON'T HAVE, and cleaned up.

A handshake and forty notes.   happy088

You seem like the kind of chap who would be interested in a Magic Turnip.

Only £20 for VP regulars.
I mostly despair

Probably charges £20 an hour or any part thereof. If it hadn't been for the charm and amusing banter he would have done the job in 55mins. ;)

You can't even climb a ladder without falling off

But when he falls he does a double twist with backward somersault before he hits the deck

Does he charge extra for aerobatics, do you think?

Just for comparison, like, take a look at this charge scale for Central London, a franchise of trades...
