Is there VAT on Christmas Trees?

Where are you trying to buy a tree anyway?

What sized tree do you want?

I assume we are talking real trees ~ are you looking for a specific type or just bog standard?

I have contacts.

Why don't you just put some fairy lights around your stinking rancid cake that you're constantly rattlin' on about? Problem sorted. happy088

Fine ~ tell me what size and type (Norwegian Blue ~ plain spruce etc) and I'll get one priced for you from my farmer friend who deals in them. Once agreed on size and type he will store it until you can collect.

£50 of fuel to collect, bearing in mind he WILL get lost via Birmingham. Bargain. whistle:

Very kind BUT

We get back from Spain at 1 a. m. on the 22nd.

Christmas guests arrive at noon on the 23rd. In the time available, we have to sort their room out, make beds, wash Spanish trip clothing, collect goose, go shopping and also panic.

A trip to N Wales seems like a good idea, come to think of it! lol:

Then buy a plastic one because unless you order it NOW there will be none left by the 22nd/23rd Dec. This isn't Charles Dickens you know ~ people shop early, they don't buy a goose on Christmas Morning anymore ~ nor a Christmas Tree. You'll be lucky to find a Christmas Stick (ie tree without any needles/branches etc) by then.

Norwegian Blue is/was an Ex Parrot!
