What a way for some to enter into Christmas. Both Officers Club and Zavvi have been added to the list of High Street stores that have called in the administrators this morning

Zavvi suprises me. They only opened their local branch recently!

Surprised me too. Apparently, it's fall-out from Woolies. One arm of Wollies was the main supplier to Zavvi, when Woolies went bust, Zavvi had to source from elsewhere but the price was obviously higher, the rest as they say, is history

I went into mine as I was passing this morning; the place had been almost stripped bare but still with quite a few people in. They'ed moved all the tills to a line by the window and people were queueing like the post office.

They did that post office queuy thing in Marks and Sparks this morning... speaking as somebody that always chooses the wrong queue it prolly saved me hours...

It is important as a business to keep your borrowings in check.
Keep to your launch budget and look to grow the business steadily. There are many good business ideas that fail not because their idea is poor but because they have hefty overheads, high borrowings and real cash flow issues.

I'm currently in this sort of predicament.
Stay as I am with no extra costs, or spend a bit to try and expand. Everything is so damned risky at the moment, I really don't know what to do for the best.
Fortunately, my overheads are really low. No ongoing rent or premises with all the usual 'add ons' that go with that to worry about, so for that I am exceedingly grateful, PLUS Swamp 2 is more of a hobby than a real job tbh.

I'm in the process of adding an income stream as one of my two current sources of income is bound to be hit soon. Keep the overheads and borrowings low.
