On reflection I'm surprised with all that is going on in Greece that their army haven't stepped in and taken over.
It could still happen ..... again.

As for Merkel ~ surely she must see that Germany's attempts to rule Europe have failed twice before and trying to do it via finance instead of arms is also going to fail. Have to hand it to the Krauts tho' ~ they never give up on an ambition!

The only good thing Gordon Brown ever did was to keep us out of the Euro ~ even if his only motive was to oppose Tony Blair.

People here all moaning there are no tourists etc .........a snack bar in the main tourist area ( owned by brits) is closing for 3 weeks in August for holidays ..... noooo:         recently they stopped opening for breakfast as well ..........why not go in jan/feb or nov .........I will be taking bets on when it closes down for good ...............

He is selling cheap beer and food and doing a roaring trade!
