Hawkin's Bazaar seems to be back up and running again, the store in Truro has reopened. Having said that given that Cornwall is the land that time forgot it nay just be a case of the news of the closure hasn't made it across the Tamar yet.  rubschin:

Truro. cloud9:  Lemon Quay. cloud9:  The Cathedral. cloud9:  Have some fab shots of that building.

Mrs Tel phoned me about 10 this morning to say that the administrators had pulled the plug on Allders, last day 22/9.

About 800 jobs on the line.

That's a cool phone ...........

Lemon Quay is looking a little different these days. the floating restaurant has closed down and this bugger appeared while I was living in Ipswich.

Having said that, depending on how long its been since you last were down this way you may not recognise it at all.

Though the outside of the Cathedral is looking better now they have cleaned it all off.

Shite shops anyway.

They have been in decline for a while. Closing their stores in Paphos gradually. The one opposite The Welcome Inn is going to be a Chillys.

Rumour has it that blokes with 'Tesco' clipboards were walking around the big one at The Paphos Mall.
