I would not ever get married again, and should never have done so. Men are better off single! 

Everyone is better off single - no one else to blame for anything but yourself. No one making demands of you (of any sort !!), expecting anything from you or judging you for the actions you have or haven't done.

However that would be a dull and desolate life eventually - even for you Nick .
